Four CJS coaches will play in the 2024 Growthpoint SA National Championship

CJS coaches Alexa Pienaar, Awande Malinga, Jordin Phillips, and Damian Groenewald will play the finals of the 2024 Growthpoint SA National Championship which will be held in Cape Town in August.

CJS coaches and players entered and played for their place to represent Northern Gauteng at the upcoming finals in Cape Town.

Here are the final results for the Northern Gauteng Regional event:

  • First Place: Awande Malinga (CJS Coach)
  • 2nd Place: Jordin Phillips (CJS Coach)
  • 5th Place: Elzandri Janse van Rensburg (CJS player)
  • 6th Place: Chanté Leppan (CJS player)
  • 7th Place: Starla Phillips (CJS player)

Coach Alexa Pienaar secured her spot in the finals by winning the North-West regional event, held in Potchefstroom.

Here are the final results for the Men’s Section:

  • First Place: Damian Groenewald (CJS Coach)
  • 3rd Place: Jarrod Cousins (CJS Coach)
  • 4th Place: Judah Phillips (CJS Player)
