25 CJS Players invited to the 2024 SA Schools Closed Tournament

Twenty-five CJS players have been invited to participate in the prestigious 2024 SA Schools Closed Tournament, which will be held from 12 to 14 April 2024 at St. John’s College in Johannesburg.

The prestigious 2024 SA Schools Closed Tournament is scheduled for 12 to 14 April 2024, held at St. John’s College and Roedean School in Houghton, Johannesburg. Only the best players from each region are invited to participate in this tournament, to determine the Top 10 players in South Africa in each age group.

To be invited to play in this tournament, squash players must have participated in the Technifibre Bloem Open Tournament earlier this year, in the A-sections of their respective age groups. They must also be ranked in the top 4 on their province’s ladder. The SA Schools Closed Tournament is only for the u14, u16, and u19 age groups.

Squash SA however has issued a few wild card invitations to players who did not rank in the Top 4 on the NJSA ladder but did participate in the qualifying Technifibre Bloem Open Tournament in March 2024.
