2026 NJSA Primary Schools League

League Results

The 2026 NJSA Primary Schools League brought together young squash players from schools across Pretoria and Centurion for four action-packed days of competition, teamwork and fantastic squash.

Held from 13 to 16 October 2026, the league saw players competing at various squash venues across Pretoria and Centurion, proudly representing their schools and giving their best on court.

This year’s league welcomed players from Midstream College Primary, Midstream Ridge Primary, Laerskool Rooihuiskraal, Southdowns College, Laerskool Hennopspark, Laerskool Wierdapark, Laerskool Lynnwood, Laerskool Constantiapark and Laerskool Anton van Wouw, along with two invitational teams from Tuks and NUAG Academy.

The week was filled with exciting matches, determined performances and plenty of enthusiasm from our young players. Even a few unexpected electricity challenges at some of the venues couldn’t stop the squash action!

More Than Just Results

At Centurion Junior Squash (CJS), we believe that school squash is about so much more than winning matches.

It’s about helping young players develop their skills, build confidence, learn discipline and discover a genuine love for the game. Every match provides an opportunity to improve, gain experience and grow as a player.

We are incredibly proud of every young player who stepped onto the court to represent their school. Whether they were experienced competitors or still finding their feet in competitive squash, each player contributed to making this year’s league a success.

And, of course, a big congratulations to all our winning teams! Your hard work, dedication and teamwork deserve to be celebrated.

A Special Thank You!

An event of this size would not be possible without the commitment and support of so many people working together.

A heartfelt thank you to all the participating schools, teachers, coaches and parents for encouraging and supporting our young squash players. Your involvement plays an important role in creating opportunities for children to participate, compete and develop their skills.

A special word of thanks goes to Gerda Dreyer and George Ehlers from NJSA for their hard work, dedication and efforts throughout the league. Your contribution to the organisation and running of the event is greatly appreciated.

We also extend our thanks to everyone involved in making the venues available and ensuring that matches could continue despite the occasional challenges.

Looking Ahead

The 2026 NJSA Primary Schools League was another wonderful reminder of the enthusiasm and potential of junior squash in Pretoria and Centurion.

While we celebrate the winning teams and their achievements, we are equally proud of the progress, determination and sportsmanship shown by all our young players.

At CJS, we look forward to continuing to support school squash, encouraging more children to get involved and creating opportunities for our young players to learn, compete and grow.

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the 2026 NJSA Primary Schools League. We can’t wait to see you back on court! 💚
