2024 Growthpoint SA National PSA Tournament
Tournament Results
The Growthpoint SA National PSA Tournament V&A Waterfront Cape Town was held from Friday, 9 August 2024 to Sunday, 11 August 2024, at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. Three CJS coaches participated in the final rounds of this prestigious national event!
The journey to the finals
The Growthpoint SA National PSA Tournament has a series of regional tournaments across South Africa. Players who win the regional event are then invited to play in the final rounds at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town in August.
This year, three CJS coaches played in the regional events. Coach Alexa Pienaar won the Potchefstroom, North West regional event, while coaches Damian Groenewald and Awande Malinga won the Northern Gauteng regional event.
The final results
Congratulations to coach Damian Groewewald who finished in second place after playing in the final against former CJS coach Dewald van Niekerk. Former CJS coach JP Brits finished in third place.
Congratulations to coach Alexa Pienaar who finished in fourth place, while coach Awande Malinga finished in 6th place in the Women’s section.
